The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has developed industry-specific fact sheets to help breweries, wineries, pools and waterparks, and fisheries and hatcheries comply with the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) program.
The fact sheets list the following chemicals as being commonly found within these respective industries:
- Breweries – Hydrogen Peroxide, Ammonia (Anhydrous), Chlorine, Hydrogen Chloride, and Bromine Chloride
- Wineries – Hydrogen Peroxide, Ammonia (Anhydrous), Chlorine, Sulfur Dioxide (Anhydrous), and Chlorine Dioxide
- Pools and Water Parks – Chlorine, Hydrogen Peroxide, Acrolein, Ammonia (Anhydrous), and Potassium Cyanide
- Fisheries and Hatcheries – Hydrogen Peroxide, Potassium Permanganate, and Ammonia (Anhydrous)
