CFATS Chiefs of Regulatory Compliance

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it has hired Chiefs of Regulatory Compliance (CRCs) for its Regional Offices. The CRC is a new position within DHS, and CRCs will serve as the lead representatives for administering the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) regulation in their respective Regions. CRCs will also serve as advisors to the Office of Infrastructure Protection Regional Directors.

In addition to managing CFATS regional operations, CRCs will lead DHS regional efforts to coordinate with other federal, state, and local representatives and will spearhead regional CFATS-related outreach and engagement.
