Marc Murphy is Senior Security Advisor for Roberts Law Group. Mr. Murphy has thirteen years experience in leadership roles within industrial and corporate security with a particular focus on the areas of global supply chain vulnerability and risk mitigation. Prior to entering private practice, Marc held the title of Global Supply Chain Security Lead for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. In that role, Marc was responsible for all global security vulnerability assessments, security standards, protection systems design, and implementation of security programs throughout the supply chain. The fulfillment of these responsibilities required extensive domestic and international travel, and routine interaction among industry associations, service providers, and governmental agencies.
Marc was integral in the development and management of all aspects of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), and the U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) programs at Air Products. He provided the leadership for cross-functional teams internally, and worked closely with customers and external supply chain partners to develop “best practice” initiatives that provided ongoing program compliance.
He has been a contributing subject matter expert and featured guest speaker for various industry and government related security initiatives including the American Chemistry Council Responsible Care Security Code, American Institute of Chemical Engineers Loss Prevention Symposium, and the National Petrochemical Refiners Association Supply Chain Security Committee.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA and is an active member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS International). |
