Daniel Slaton is an attorney who practices in the area of homeland security law and regulation, particularly the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), the Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA), the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), rail and highway transportation security, as well as related public policy issues. He has advised on CFATS, TWIC, and other regulatory compliance matters for members of industry.

Prior to joining Roberts Law Group, Mr. Slaton clerked at Brown Sims, PC and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jeff Bohm, United States Bankruptcy Judge, Southern District of Texas. Mr. Slaton is a member of the Texas Bar. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, where he published work and served as a Senior Articles Editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal.
