Bill Montgomery is Director of Security Services for the Roberts Law Group. Mr. Montgomery provides security support services to clients, especially related to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS).
Prior to joining the Roberts Law Group, Mr. Montgomery was the Global Director of Threat Analysis and Research, International Corporate Security for Halliburton where he coordinated and managed global security operations and programs for over 55,000 employees in more than 70 countries.
Mr. Montgomery joined Halliburton after a career as a United States Army Officer where he held numerous leadership positions including multiple command postings at both the battalion and company levels. He directed operations globally, including managing operational security for NORAD / USSPACECOM, Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Base, Colorado and the training and supervision of U.S. Advisory Support Teams embedded with Iraqi forces. Mr. Montgomery was selected as a U.S. Army Distinguished Leader and was a Department of Defense (DOD) Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Level II Instructor. He also served as Defense Coordinating Element team chief, in support of the FBI, FEMA disaster operations, and the National Interagency Fire Center.
He is a regular guest instructor at the United States Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia. At FLETC, Mr. Montgomery teaches in the Counterterrorism Division where he instructs on critical infrastructure protection, business continuity, and legal issues.
Mr. Montgomery holds a Masters Degree from Webster University, a Bachelors Degree from Texas A&M University, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He is an American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) Certified Protection Professional (CPP). |
